Liane Nouri - Editor

"As a painter I’ve always been fascinated by how art work is experienced differently in diverse spaces, from studio to gallery to museum. This has led me to a grand curiosity about how painting, sculpture, installations and other media relate to the way they are housed. I’ve always wondered how architects approach the design of a ‘place’ for art."

"AforA was created out of this personal exploration. My intention is to form a community of artists, architects, writers, planners, curators and collectors and to find out how others approach Architecture for Art."
